ADVANCED MASTER IN STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS OF MONUMENTS AND HISTORICAL CONSTRUCTIONS

Applications for the Advanced Masters in Structural Analysis of Monuments and Historical Constructions are now open (call 3).

This Master Course is organized by a consortium of leading European Universities/Research Institutions in the field, composed by University of Minho (coordinating institution, Portugal), the Technical University of Catalonia (Spain), the Czech Technical University in Prague (Czech Republic), the University of Padua (Italy) and the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the Czech Academy of Sciences (Czech Republic). The course combines the most recent advances in research and development with practical applications.

Reduced Rates for Members at ‘Outback & Beyond’ Conference, 22-25 April 2010, Broken Hill!

As previously advised in E-news, due to the economic downturn and its effects on our members, the better $AUD to Euro ratio and the fact that recent past conferences have generally broken even/and or made modest profits, the Executive Committee decided not to raise membership fees at present. However, a rise in fees is inevitable at some point and membership fees will be reviewed in mid 2010.

So, there has never been a better time to join ICOMOS. We have a great conference, ‘Outback & Beyond’, coming up in Broken Hill on 22-25 April 2010 over the Anzac Day weekend. It is shaping up to be very interesting indeed with great topics and a diverse range of speakers from Australia and NZ, as well as the UK, US, Asia and Europe.
